High Blue was inspired by memories of a 30km bush walk I took with friends across the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The trek was long and arduous in places. It included some areas where we were walking in the undergrowth with tall trees towering above us. It gave me a sense of open spaciousness and yet the forest was surrounding us. When we emerged, we were once again at the waters edge.
