About this Painting
Lunch under the vines is inspired by the colour and dappled light under an arbour of grape vines. Such a romantic notion and one that is within our grasp.
This original painting measures 100 x 100 mm and is framed in a raw oak frame that measures approximately 250 x 250 mm. Ready to hang.
I've shown the artwork here in a small foursome. It would also suit a small space or add it to a gallery wall collection.
This original painting is painted in acrylic on 325 gsm paper.
Signed on the lower right hand corner and also titled and signed on the back.
Created for a new series called “When Summer Comes”, capturing the freedom and longing, the anticipation of summer. The “ When Summer Comes” series explores the gestures and stances of people, our environment and the places we live near. This abstract is about friends, family and enjoying our summer. The details are sketchy, making this painting a semi-abstract. Perhaps can imagine or remember a similar scene.
