About this Painting
Raspberry Ripples was painted in series with Submerged in a Deep Sea, Sulphur Night and Horizon Shift. Raspberry Ripples explores the light reflecting on the deep blue of the sea. These raspberry coloured reflections originate from the lights of the shore, the city the sky.
Painted in an abstract landscape style using layers of acrylic over colourful underpainting and deep shadow. Raspberry Ripples is full of lively movement colourful light reflections and the mystery of a deep sea. This is achieved with texture, mark making and layering.
