Somewhere between the north of the Gold Coast and the south of Brisbane lies the Broadwater.  This narrow, sheltered seaway is a little boating paradise of calm water that will take you gently between the South Stradbroke Island and the Gold Coast Seaway.  But be careful, as it is quite shallow is places.
Painted using layers of acrylic in a minimal palette.  The ground is burnt sienna and Matisse indigo.  The painting uses the texture of the paper, marks made with the end of the paint brush and a palette knife  and layering of the paint. 
Acrylic paint on 360gsm  Arches watercolour paper.  The painting measures 14 x 14 cm and is matted and mounted ready for you to frame.  Finished size is 30 x 30 cm.
Signed on the front lower right.  The painting includes the artists name, contact details, medium and date on the back.
