Going Solo for Summer

How would you describe life on the Peninsula?

For me life on this peninsula is about people, sunshine, the choice of beaches, wineries, countryside, the cafés, the lifestyle, an easy Sunday feeling and those view’s!

I can’t go past the sea and the beaches. And these feature in a lot of the current work, some of which graced the walls in my Solo Exhibition held in December 2018 at Black Spot Gallery, Mornington. The work captures the freedom, longing and anticipation of summer.

I am surrounded with choice and inspiration. My new work captures the colour of the bay, the tilt of the jib, the billowing breeze playing with the edges of the sun umbrella? You can feel the sand between your toes. You can taste the fine food and wine. You can see the people enjoying the company of their friends and family. They are loving that Victorian summer feeling.

Well summer is almost over, but you can still see some of the pieces created for this exhibition, hanging at Black Spot Gallery, 20 Milgate Drive, Mornington. Open weekdays from 1-5pm or Weekends 10-2pm.

SHARE

Please share my site, socials and links with your friends. We are not always in a position to buy art and support artists financially. And to be honest, I don’t expect you to be. There is only so much wall space and it’s often quite a difficult personal decision to invest in art. However, one thing you can do to help me, or any artist, is to tell your friends about us and spread the word. I would appreciate it if you could do this for me. Thank you.
