The Friday Files

Ok, so its not Friday, but I need to tell you some news, give you a heads up and keep you up to date with arty things that are happening over the coming weekends on the Mornington Peninsula.

Have you ever visited an artist studio? The first time I did this, my husband and I were travelling in Europe, in Copenhagen actually. We picked up a simple artist studio trail map from the information centre and were able to find our way to several artist studios located near the centre of the city. We bought some very special things that we've kept and others that we have gifted along the way. I remember the awe and excitement of such a novel and fascinating experience. An insight into the working spaces of truly talented, creative people.

This weekend, the famous Peninsula Artist Studio Trail is on again and the timing couldn't be better for the lead up to Christmas and the end of the year. Here is a little video for you to hear about the group, meet some artists and have a sneak peak into their spaces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pq_8CVSQB0

My studio will be open on the following weekends:

19th & 20th November; and

26th & 27th November 2022.

You can find the artists who will be open at this link. Download a map to help you plan your trip.

At my studio you will find original paintings on canvas or paper; painted concertina books, handmade gifts, reproduction prints and greeting cards. New work, discounted older work and special things that make great Christmas gifts, teacher gifts or something for yourself.

I hope to see you on the trail.
